I drove all the way down from Burien to come here, and boy am I glad I did. Having a biopsy and a post-biopsy mammogram here was remarkably different than an earlier diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound at Franciscan Health in Federal Way. The clinic is clean and welcoming. As others have mentioned, you do feel a bit like you're at a spa. Everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming, especially the wonderful lady who checked me in. The tech who helped do the ultrasound for my biopsy was knowledgeable and answered questions. Normally, techs are trained to be evasive in answering any questions because they don't want to give you information that the doctor will, but my tech did answer questions to the best of her ability and didn't make the experience feel terrifying with the unknown. The doc worked fast to take my samples and put me at ease with his efficiency and experience. To top it off, the tech who did my post-biopsy mammogram was exceptional, as well. Very kind, understanding, and knowledgeable. She gave me tips about not checking my results via MyChart and waiting for my follow-up appt. Even though I practically live in Seattle, I might start journeying down to Tacoma just to receive my care here in the future. That's how great they are! -
